【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheheatcapacityofliquidsandsolids.Itisapplicabletoliquidsandsolidsthatarechemicallycompatiblewithstainlesssteel,thathaveavaporpressurelessthan13.3kPa(100torr),andthatdonotundergophasetransformationthroughouttherangeoftesttemperatures.Thespecificheatofmaterialswithhighervaporpressurescanbedeterminediftheirvaporpressuresareknownthroughouttherangeoftesttemperatures.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thermalanalysisprovidesarapidmethodformeasuringtransitionsduetomorphologicalorchemicalchanges,inapolymerasitisheated/cooledthroughaspecifiedtemperaturerange.Changeinspecificheatcapacity,heatflowandtemperaturevaluesaredeterminedforthesetransitions.Differentialscanningcalorimetryisusedtoassistinidentifyingspecificpolymers,polymeralloys,andcertainpolymeradditives,whichexhibitthermaltransitions.Chemicalreactionsthatcauseoraffectcertaintransitionshavebeenmeasuredwiththeaidofthistechnique;suchreactionsincludeoxidation,curingofthermosettingresins,andthermaldecomposition.Thistestmethodisusefulforspecificationacceptance,processcontrol,andresearch.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftransitiontemperaturesandenthalpiesoffusionandcrystallizationofpolymersbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry.Note18212;Trueheatsoffusionaretobedeterminedinconjunctionwithstructureinvestigation,andfrequently,specializedcrystallizationtechniquesareneeded.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletopolymersingranularformortoanyfabricatedshapefromwhichitispossibletocutappropriatespecimens.1.3Thenormaloperatingtemperaturerangeisfromthecryogenicregionto600x00B0;C.Certainequipmentallowsthetemperaturerangetobeextended.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarethestandard.Note28212;Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytoalltypesofpolymersaswritten(see6.8).1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note38212;ThisstandardissimilarbutnotequivalenttoISO11357-1,-2,-3.TheISOproceduresprovideadditionalinformationnotsuppliedbythistestmethod.
