【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforassessingandoperatingmachinestrengthgradingsystems,tostrengthgradestructuraltimberandlaminatesforglulam.NOTE.Whilstitispermittedtousethisstandardtodeterminemachinesettingsandtogradetoanypossiblestrengthprofileforagivenspecies,thisstandardreferstothestrengthclassesofEN338toprovidesuitablestrengthprofilesanddictatethevisualoverriderequirementsnecessarytomakemachinegradingtothisstandardpossible.Inaddition,guidanceisgivenforthedegreeofqualitycontrolnecessarytoensurethereliabilityoftimbergradedbystrengthgradingmachines.Theserequirementsaregivenforboth'machine-controlled'and'output-controlled'systemsforgradingtimber.
