【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthepassivationofstainlesssteelalloysinthe200(UNS2XXXX),300(UNS3XXXX),and400(UNS4XXXX)series,andtheprecipitation-hardenedalloys,usingelectropolishingprocedures.Note18212;Surfacepassivationoccurssimultaneouslywithelectropolishingunderproperoperatingconditions.Thequalityofpassivationwilldependonthetypeofstainlesssteel,theformulationoftheelectropolishingsolution,andtheconditionsofoperation.Freeirononthesurfaceofthestainlesssteelisremovedresultinginimprovedcorrosionresistance.Surfacesmoothingobtainedbyelectropolishingwillalsoimprovecorrosionresistance.Electropolishingwillalsoremoveheattintandoxidescale.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisspecificationmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisspecificationdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
